What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda dates back to 3000 B.C.
Ayurveda is a traditional Indian treatment that the people of Indian have been using for more than 5000 years.
Ayurveda is built on the method of living healthy and preventing illnesses before they arise.

In his book Ayurveda and Yoga, Kazuo UeBaba, states, “Ayurveda is about a life of benefit and no benefit, happiness and unhappiness, longevity, and life itself.”
※Charaka. Sanhita: Volume 1, Chapter 1, Verse 41
From another verse, Ayurveda is to give knowledge, bring happiness, and provide longevity.

Adjust the balance of Tridosha and be healthy both mentally and physically.

The 3 doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) are biological energies found throughout the human body and mind, and derive from the five elements and their related properties. Vata is composed of space and air, Pitta of fire and water, and Kapha of Earth and water. Bringing balance to ones 3 doshas is thought to maintain the health of both ones mentality and soul.
These 3 elements are combined with the 5 elements made up of the Space, Air, fire, water, and earth.

We are all born with the 3 elements, and it is believed that when there is an imbalance in our doshas, poor health is sure to follow.
However, when our 3 doshas are aligned, the body functions well while increasing our Ojas (thought to be our source of vitality, strength, health, immunity, and our mental and emotional wellbeing).
Conversely, when there is a breakdown in the dosha, ahma (undigested extracts built up in the body) increase leading to a loss of health and potential illness.

You can relax with our original technique combined with relaxation elements.

Panchakarma (five purifying actions) is a cleansing and rejuvenation program by way of eliminating toxins and toxic conditions from your body and mind.
Pancha is the Sanskrit word for 5: Karma meaning action → 5 treatments, delivering us Panchakarma

In addition to the various Panchakarma treatments that are practiced in India, Leela Veda adds to it a relaxation element.
Our goal is for you to experience the joys and sensations of deep relaxation using our unique method of natural Indian oil treatments in the most Japanese of ways.
